Life at Interwood

Life at Interwood
At Interwood, every day is about creating something that matters. From our manufacturing facility and design studios to our showrooms, project sites, and corporate offices, thousands of decisions come together to shape the spaces where people live, work, learn, and connect.
It takes more than craftsmanship to make that happen. It takes people who think ahead, take ownership, solve problems, and deliver with precision. Whether designing products, managing production, serving customers, or executing complex projects, every role contributes to a shared purpose and a tangible outcome.
Life at Interwood is fast-paced, collaborative, and hands-on. It is an environment where ideas become reality, challenges become opportunities to grow, and every project builds more than exceptional spaces—it builds capability, confidence, careers, and a collective sense of pride in what we achieve together.

Diversity & Culture

Great spaces are built by diverse perspectives. At Interwood, our teams bring together people from creative, technical, commercial, operational, and corporate backgrounds, each contributing unique expertise toward a common goal.

We are committed to creating a workplace where opportunity is based on talent, performance, and potential, and where every individual is treated with respect and empowered to contribute. As we continue to strengthen representation across the organization, women are playing an increasingly important role across HR, design, sales, customer experience, corporate functions, and leadership, helping shape the future of Interwood at every level.

By embracing different experiences, ideas, and ways of thinking, we build stronger teams, make better decisions, and create greater value for our customers and each other.

Training & Development

At Interwood, learning is an integral part of our culture. Every quarter, our teams participate in a diverse range of training programs designed to strengthen both technical expertise and professional growth. From leadership development and succession programs to sales process and order lifecycle training, professional grooming, compliance, site operations, administration, and other functional learning initiatives such as DQMS, each session is thoughtfully designed to address different aspects of employee development. Beyond building capabilities, these interactive trainings foster collaboration, encourage cross-functional learning, and bring people together through engaging discussions and team-building activities.

By creating meaningful learning experiences, we continue to cultivate an inclusive workplace where every employee has the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute with confidence.

Recognition & Appreciation

At Interwood, recognition is earned through impact. Every achievement—whether improving quality on the production floor, delivering an exceptional customer experience, executing a complex project, driving operational efficiency, or contributing to business growth—helps move the organization forward.

We celebrate contributions across every function and every level, recognizing that success is built collectively by the people behind every product, project, and customer interaction. Through awards, appreciation programs, and everyday acknowledgement, we foster a culture where effort is valued, excellence is recognized, and achievements inspire others to raise the bar.

Because at Interwood, recognition isn’t simply about celebrating milestones—it’s about recognizing the people whose dedication, ownership, and commitment make those milestones possible.

Career Growth & Internal Mobility

A career at Interwood is shaped by opportunity, not just tenure. With diverse business functions spanning design, manufacturing, retail, projects, engineering, customer experience, and corporate operations, employees have the chance to broaden their expertise, take on new challenges, and grow beyond the boundaries of a single role.
Career progression is driven by performance, ownership, and a willingness to learn. Through cross-functional projects, expanded responsibilities, and internal opportunities, our people gain valuable exposure to different parts of the business, building the skills and perspective needed to grow into future leadership roles.

At Interwood, growth isn’t defined by changing companies—it’s about continuously evolving within one that offers the scale, diversity, and opportunities to build a meaningful long-term career.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our people begins with a safe and responsible workplace. Across our manufacturing facilities, warehouses, showrooms, offices, and project sites, we are committed to maintaining an environment where safety, discipline, and operational excellence go hand in hand.

Through established safety protocols, regular training, compliance standards, and a culture of shared responsibility, we empower every employee to work with confidence and care. Equally important is creating a workplace where people feel supported, respected, and equipped to perform at their best.

At Interwood, protecting our people is fundamental to how we operate. Because when our teams work in a safe, secure, and positive environment, they can focus on what they do best—delivering exceptional results for our customers and building spaces with pride.

Collaboration & Cross Functional Culture

Every Interwood project is the result of people working together with a shared commitment to delivering the best possible outcome. From the first customer interaction to design, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, installation, and after-sales support, every team plays a vital role in bringing ideas to life.

Our collaborative culture encourages open communication, shared accountability, and mutual respect across functions. Teams work closely to solve challenges, improve processes, and ensure every detail meets the standards our customers expect.

This connected way of working allows us to move with speed, maintain consistency, and deliver complex projects with confidence. At Interwood, collaboration isn’t simply how work gets done—it’s how we transform individual expertise into exceptional customer experiences and spaces that stand the test of time.
