Interwood partners with WWF to help plant 2,000 trees across Pakistan

As part of our on-going initiative to create a cleaner and greener Pakistan, Interwood has partnered with global conservationist WWF to plant 2,000 mangrove trees in Karachi and Lahore. Mangroves are an essential part of Pakistan’s ecosystem and play a major role in supporting wildlife and providing natural protection against natural disasters. This is one of many steps that Interwood has taken to help counter the negative impact of climate change and help create a most prosperous Pakistan.

In 2021, Interwood also began providing free seed packets to customers who visited showrooms, encouraging patrons to participate in its green initiatives. So far, Interwood has successfully distributed over 35,000 seed packets across Pakistan (approximately 175,000 moringa seeds).
